High Clear and Ultra Clear Polyester Films are optically clear (HC) and ultra-clear (UL) polyester films available with or without a chemical or acrylic coating.

These films are characterized by very high transparency and excellent slip properties. They find primary use as substrate for security, microfilm, photographic and graphic arts, stationary, engineering reproduction materials and many other applications where clarity is of prime importance. These film have established a good positioning in flexible packaging to offer superior surface gloss. These films are available either untreated or corona treated on the other side.

These films possess high clarity, high gloss, low haze and excellent mechanical and thermal properties. Their surfaces can be metallized with excellent metal adhesion and are ideal for security applications such as hologram. They are available in the thickness range of 12 to 50 micron.

The prime difference between High Clear and Ultra Clear Films is haze (%), which is on a very lower side in case of ultra-clear films offering high clarity and gloss.

These film conforms to EC 10/2011 directives, REACH specifications and US FDA regulations for food contact application.

Polyester Film Sheet is a versatile type of thin plastic sheet available by the metre. This product is most commonly used for electrical insulation applications though, thanks to its low price and outstanding physical attributes, it is also used in many other areas.

Our Polyester Film is available in 9 different thicknesses and can be supplied by the lineal metre. Roll width is 1000mm (1 metre) wide.

Though it is very thin, Polyester Film does have excellent strength characteristics and resists tearing and/or stretching. It also has very good thermal stability and withstands most common chemicals and media. It is a solid film that will not absorb moisture or fluids.

Polyester Film Sheet can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 150°C and has a melting point of 256°C.

It is usually colorless, transparent and glossy film. It has excellent mechanical properties, high rigidity, hardness and toughness, puncture resistance, friction resistance, high and low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, oil resistance, air tightness and fragrance retention. It is one of the commonly used composite film substrates.

The thickness of polyester film is generally from 6micron to 175micron, which is commonly used as the outer material of cooking packaging, with good printability

 

BOPET film has the following advantages:

1. Good mechanical properties, good rigidity and high strength.
2. Excellent cold resistance and heat resistance. The suitable temperature range is - 70 ~ 150 ºC.
3. Good water resistance, gas resistance and fragrance retention.
4. It has good antistatic property, easy to vacuum aluminize, and can be coated with PVDC, so as to improve its heat sealing, barrier and printing adhesion.
5. Resistant to grease and most solvents, weak acids and alkaline liquids. The disadvantage of BOPET film is poor puncture resistance.
