KF uses the best verginal materials, combined with advanced five-layer co-extrusion technology to produce plastic film for silage, (silage cover film, silo bag, wrap film), so that it has higher puncture resistance, Tearing resistance, gas and water resistance and aging resistance, so as to ensure the silage fermentation environment and ensure the quality of the silage.
Silage covers protect the forage from air and water intrusion resulting in reduced dry matter losses and maximum feed freshness. Silage inoculants facilitate control of the fermentation process and help maintain a high nutritional value of the ensiled forage.
Usage and Application:
When applying to the pit after rolling and compaction, ensure as much air as possible is forced out of the pit to create an air tight seal.
Firmly secure all edges of the silage cover to prevent movement during storms and winds.
To assist in achieving optimal feed quality, Agri Novatex recommend the use of a preservative to ensure correct numbers of beneficial bacteria are present to maximise the speed of formation and the reduction of storage losses in all silage making methods with all forages in pits, bunkers and bales.
Place with black layer facing down and white layer facing up to reflect sunlight and heat away from the silage pit.
This will reduce the chance of Pit fires and minimising mould growth and spoilage beneath the silage cover.
